Eric Rapps leads Playtika Growth’s investment activities as well as day-to-day management of the firm. He also serves as Director of Corporate Development at Playtika, overseeing firm-wide corporate strategy and M&A. Previously, he served as Executive Associate to the CEO of Caesars Interactive Entertainment, Playtika’s former owner, where he worked on the sale of Playtika to its current ownership group for $4.4 billion. He has a B.A. from McGill University, graduating with Joint Honors and Distinction and studied law at McGill before leaving to found his first company.
Raz Friedman leads Playtika Growth’s Optimization Services team, working side-by-side with our portfolio companies to optimize their marketing, monetization, analytics and products. He also serves as Playtika’s Chief Product Officer and was Playtika’s first employee. Since 2010, he has led all major product initiatives across Playtika’s portfolio of games and is an industry-leading expert in monetization and game economy design and management. He graduated from IDC Herzliya with a degree in Computer Science and served as a pilot in the IDF’s elite Air Force.
Robert Antokol is the Co-founder and CEO of Playtika. In 2011, only 11 months after founding Playtika, he sold the business to Las Vegas-based Caesars Interactive Entertainment for more than $100 million. Under new ownership, he oversaw the expansion of Playtika’s games portfolio, the successful transition to mobile, and an employee base that grew from 50 to 1,600 employees in five years. He has guided the company from its inception to a global leader that generates in excess of $1 billion of revenue as well as through its sale to its current ownership group for $4.4 billion, one of the three largest exits in Israeli history.
Craig Abrahams serves as President, Global Development at Playtika, helping guide the company’s long-term growth strategy. Previously, he was CFO of NASDAQ-listed Caesars Acquisition Company and Co-founder, President, and CFO of Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE), where he helped lead CIE’s purchase of Playtika in 2011. He is responsible for Playtika’s 10+ acquisitions, including the purchase of Buffalo Studios (makers of Bingo Blitz), Pacific Interactive (makers of House of Fun) and EA Mobile Montreal (makers of World Series of Poker). In 2016, he co-led CIE’s sale of Playtika to its current ownership group for $4.4 billion. His prior experience includes strategic planning and investment banking roles at The Walt Disney Company and Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., respectively. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at Redbox (a movie and video game rental company) and CareerBuilder (a human capital solutions company and jobs marketplace). He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Tian Lin is the Head of Strategic Investments at Shenzen-listed Giant Network Group (SZ.002558), Playtika Ltd’s controlling shareholder, where he oversees Giant’s M&A activity in gaming and minority investments in the broader TMT sector. Prior to joining Giant, he was an investment director at Legend Holdings. Prior to Legend Holdings, he was the founder and CEO of Evertrust Technologies, a technology startup in Beijing, as well as a software engineer at Bloomberg. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon and an MBA from Peking University
